"Star Trek" only continued on three seasons, however, it had a remarkable influence on millions all over the world. The first series starred William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy as Captain James T. "Star Trek", the original series, ran from 1966-1969. The Star Trek movies that included the original cast were "Star Trek: The Motion Picture", "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan", "Star Trek III: The Search for Spock", "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home", the "Star Trek V: Final Frontier" and the "Star Trek VI: Undiscovered Country".
"Star Trek: The Next Generation" picked up 75 years after the original series. It went on from 1987-1994 for a total of seven seasons and 178 episodes.
